                        Peter Garety , one of the few people who did not even mention money in a internet marketing event  (NOW HOW COOL IS THAT .. :-))…   Peter was all about the following fundamentals and highest of ethics and it was a humbling experience for yours truly…

• Ethics

Work hard, Be focused

• Be a Giver

Always be a giver first , then the rest takes care of itself

• Mindset , books and videos / audios

More than getting on to make money , business models , Peter suggested to read lots of books and listen to great audios and videos which tunes the mind to the point where anything is possible

• Don’t talk money

That will follow if you do all other things the right way, so don’t chase money that is not we are in this Internet marketing world for.

 

 

This past weekend, March 10-11 2012, I attended my First Ever Intermarketing event, “Warrior Event in Raleigh, North Carolina”. To put it simply an eye opening and most likely a life changing event … Just wanted to write on things I learnt from some of the speakers

The “BIG BOYS AND GIRLS” were among the friendliest, making some one starting out in the internet marketing arena feel totally comfortable. Here are some of the main points I had learnt from them…

The Speaker Line Up:

The speakers at the event included Brad Gosse, Anthony Aires, Charles Kirkland, Kevin Rogers and Ben Johnson, Bolaji O, Rachel Rofe, Dennis Becker, Barry Plaskow and Roger Dagenais, Dr. Ben Adkins, Russ Ruffino and Adam Nolan, Maria Gudelis and Tina Williams, and Willie Crawford.

 

Internet Marketing and Probably any entrepreneurial efforts need these following fundamentals in place for a successful career

 

• Learn to GIVE first, even if it is a little help as the more successful folks do lack one of the most important resources, “TIME”.

 

• The biggest of achievers like Charles Kirkland, Justin Popovic , Adam Nolan, Peter Garety and of course Bolaji O among the many others (just naming these folks would fill up this post, so more on what lessons I learnt from each one of them in later posts…) were so humble, friendly and went out of their way to get one getting started feel so comfortable, it is difficult to just write about it..

 

• All the BIG achievers shared their personal stories and how the first steps were the most difficult, thereby making me and fellow “newbies” realize that the IM dream is attainable with a bit of focus…

In essence don’t fear failure, Anthony Aires Presented and I am stealing this quote from him “There are no failures, Only Lessons”.

So Folks Keep focused, start taking consistent action and avoid Bright Shiny Objects ( BSO , quoting Dennis Becker here), and be yourself …. Ciao folks at the next event and thanks for putting in a newbie a whole lot of faith and strength to draw upon…

My First Post and guess what it is all about a networking event..  Having started learning the Internet Marketing  ropes the last few months, the biggest lesson I had learned was finding great mentors , forming good relationships and having the serve others mentality is what the most important ingredients are  for long term success in this or for that matter any endevaour in life… I am all excited to meetig the folks I have learnt a lot of things and will be making some live updates on what is happening out there in Raleigh, NC
